I recently purchased a Rod Carew-signed 1983 Topps from Millcreek Sports on Ebay, and it arrived today.
This has Mr. Carew's post-heart transplant signature, which is consistent, but different from his older signature, such as on this 2000 Fleer Greats of the Game, which I got signed in person at a Rochester Red Wings game back in 2010.
Mr. Carew was there to sign autographs before the game (for free), and to throw out the first pitch. The line was really long, and he didn't get to everyone before he had to go throw out the pitch, but he was kind enough to return to the autograph line and sign for a while longer.
