I didn't receive and ttm returns, but I received a couple purchases and a few cards back from a Frank Thomas mail-in signing.
I had Frank Thomas sign a 1991 Topps with Beckett Witness Authentication, and a 2003 Topps Heritage and 2008 Goudey without authentication.
I also received a bunch of vintage cards from eBay that will fill some holes in my sets, as well as a 2024 Topps Heritage Real One of Ted Simmons.
I received just one ttm return today. Ron Keller signed the 1967 Twins team card for me in just 12 days.
I received two ttm returns today.
Craig Anderson signed a few cards and answered a question in my letter.
Orlando Cepeda signed a couple cards. I sent a check for $40. His signature is getting VERY shaky now. I think I'll quit sending to him and leave him alone now.
And I received a few Twins cards I bought from a single dealer on eBay. I've seen this seller promote some spring training consignments, so these are probably extras from that effort.
I received two more ttm returns today.
Hall of Famer Wade Boggs signed his Hall of Fame plaque postcard for me for his $10 fee.
And John Castino signed a 1972 Topps Rookie of the Year Award card as well as his 1983 Topps.
Dick Egan quickly signed and returned a few cards for me. I sent these to him just 9 days ago. Unfortunately, Dave Gray passed away, so the 64 Topps is as complete as it's going to get. He also answered a letter in my question.
I finally received the baseball and bobblehead that I sent to a Torii Hunter signing, despite having received the bat I sent exactly a week ago. The promoter shipped it pretty promptly, but the USPS was much slower on this one for some reason.
In addition to the bat, I sent it a Gold Glove baseball and his Twins Hall of Fame bobblehead. I have a pretty decent Torii Hunter collection now, including a Metrodome banner, mini helmet, jersey, a few 8x10 photos, three baseballs, a bat, three bobbleheads and four baseball cards. I suppose I could add a magazine or program/scorecard, but otherwise I think I'm set.
I received three cards back from an Al Oliver signing, who signed three cards for some sets I'm working on including the 1973, 1975 and 1978 Topps sets.
And Clay Dalrymple signed two 1964 Topps and a 1972 Orioles team card for me ttm. I included $10 with my request. He charges $5 per card, but I had offered the duplicate 1964 Topps for him to keep, but he signed and returned it instead.
I have 4 or 5 more mail-in signings to be returned and a couple dozen or so recent ttm requests I'm waiting on. I say 4 or 5 because one signing (Angel Bravo) is to take place in Venezuela and has been delayed quite a while. However, the promoter updated his SCN post just today stating that the signing may happen next week. I hope so! I sent a 1971 Topps already signed by Woody Woodward which would be cool to complete.
Two days in a row without a ttm return is kind of annoying considering I have a lot of requests out.
But I did receive a purchase of several Twins Heritage and Allen & Ginter cards to help fill some holes in my team sets. I have a few team sets I am very close to completing, but need a bunch of Mauer, Morneau, Santana, Hunter, etc., cards to complete. Sometimes several Mauer cards are needed. I am two Morneau cards away from completing the 2010 Heritage Twins team set. I think I'll try sending them off to him in care of the Twins. He signed a couple 2011 Heritage cards for me that I received a couple days before Christmas last year, having waited about 18 months.
Anyway, here's a dump of the cards I received today in no particular order. Hopefully I'll have some ttm returns tomorrow.
