Will Clark and Woody Woodward

I was happy to see my card come back from Will Clark today.  I had sent it back in the beginning of November.  He signed my 1987 Topps very nicely.

I also received a nice return from Woody Woodward, who signed his 1966, 1969 and 1971 Topps.

Baldwin, Britton, Dukes and Morgan

I received a few requests over the weekend.

Dave Baldwin signed his 1968, 1969 and 1971 Topps.  He also enclosed a couple signed custom cards with my request.

Jim Britton signed his 1964, 1968, 1969 and 1971 Topps.

Tom Dukes signed his 1968, 1969 and 1971 Topps.

Finally, Bobby Morgan signed his 1955 Bowman.

Larry Brown, George Mitterwald and Bobby Richardson

I received some nice returns today.

Larry Brown signed his 1966, 1967, 1969 and 1971 Topps for me.  This is my 18th 1971 Topps so far this year, towards my goals of 50.

George Mitterwald completed the 1968 Twins Rookie Stars card already signed by Rick Renick.

And Bobby Richardson signed a Gold Glove ball.  I had asked for his Gold Glove inscription, which he added, as well as more to another panel.

Frank Bolling and Tommy Dean

Two returns today and one failure.

Frank Bolling signed his 1955 Bowman, 1962 Topps, 1962 Post, and 1963 Fleer.

Tommy Dean signed his 1970 and 1971 Topps.

Finally, Ray Webster returned both my cards unsigned for the second time in a row.  I've seen other successes on SCN using the same address I did.  Maybe he didn't like my letter.

John Ryan Murphy (After Three Years) and Denny Doyle

I was very surprised today to get a return from John Ryan Murphy.  I sent this request to him exactly three years ago today, in 2017, to the Twins' Spring Training complex.

He has since played for the Diamondbacks and now the Braves.  The envelope was postmarked from St. Petersburg, FL, which appears to be closer to his home address in Florida then the Braves Spring Training complex in West Villages. Perhaps he's been holding some requests around the last few years and just got around to signing them.  Anyway, I'm happy to get back his 2014 and 2015 Topps Heritage cards.

I also received a return from Denny Doyle, who signed his 1972, 1973 and 1978 Topps cards.  He didn't return the 1971 Topps I had also included.

Frank Johnson - 1969 and 1971 Topps

Frank Johnson provided my only return today.  He signed his 1969 and 1971 Topps for me.

Catching Up

Over the last couple of days I received four returns.

Don Buford signed the 1967 Topps Sox Sockers previously signed by Pete Ward.  Mr. Buford frequently personalizes, but I seemed to notice on SCN that if you sent a small gift, he didn't appear to personalize.  I'm not 100% positive on this, but I included $5 and he didn't personalize this one.  Maybe he wouldn't have since it's a multi-signed card.

Gary Nolan signed his 1969 and 1971 Topps as well as a 1973 Kelloggs card.

Rick Renick signed his 1968 and 1971 Topps.  I'll send the 1968 card off to George Mitterwald next.

And Bob Humphreys signed his 1966, 1968, 1969 and 1971 Topps.
