My streak continues with a full mailbox today. However, despite my Informed Delivery email showing five ttm returns, I only received two of them. That's not uncommon, especially on the first day of the week and after a holiday.
J.C. Martin is a very generous signer ttm and has always done a nice job for me. I've sent to him many times over the last 20 years and every card has come back signed in blue sharpie. This time was no exception, as he signed a few team cards for me, including the 1970 Mets card (commemorating the 1969 Miracle Mets), as well as his 1971 Topps.
The always-entertaining Bill Lee signed his 1974 and 1982 Topps for me. He also wrote a short note about the Minnesota Bees 65+ team being the best in the league until he beat them!
I received a return from a Doug Mientkiewicz mail-in signing. I had him sign the season ticket holder version of his Twins bobblehead and his 2003 Topps and 2004 Topps Heritage.
Finally, I received a few cards I bought from a fellow SCN member. The cards are from players who are deceased or no longer sign ttm and help fill some holes in my sets.
