Pizarro, Brown and Rettenmund TTM Returns and Andre Dawson Ball

Another good day at the mail box today.  First, I received a ball signed by Andre Dawson that I bought from Tom Orr of AtommicSports.  It has JSA authentication and was quite a bargain. at $45 including shipping.

I also received some through the mail responses today.  Juan Pizarro signed his 1960 Topps.  His signature looks quite different from others I received from him.  I hope it's not a health issue.

Hal Brown signed his 1954 and 1958 Topps for me.  I already have his 1958 signed so this isn't a new one for my set, but this card is nicer so it's an upgrade.

Finally, I added a couple more 1972 Topps to my newly-started set.  Merv Rettenmund signed his 1972 Topps as well as the American League Batting Leaders card. This card also has Tony Oliva on it so I'll have to have him sign it too.

Mr. Rettenmund also signed a 1973 and 1978 Topps that I enclosed.

I mailed out 10 more requests containing 1972 Topps today.  I'm also getting ready to send out a ball and some cards to a signing at Jim & Steve's for Tony Perez and possibly Billy Williams.

Some 1965 Topps And Another HOF Baseball

I was out of town for a few days this week and came home to some nice items waiting for me.

I sent in a ball and 1965 Topps to Jim and Steve's to be signed by Billy Williams, as well as a 1965 Topps for Ron Santo.  All items came back in great shape.

I also got back another 2008 Goudey, this time signed by Fred Lynn.  I had sent this in to a paid signing being run by an SCN contact.

My son also got back some items this week. I'll post those later.

Ernie Banks - 2008 Goudey

Today I received a 2008 Goudey signed by Ernie Banks from a signing at Jim and Steve's. It was delayed a few weeks but came back signed nicely. I also got a ball signed for a friend and it looks great.

I have a 2008 Goudey out to a Mike Schmidt signing and am planning a few more including Eddie Murray, Fred Lynn and Willie McCovey. This set is getting expensive.

I also received another 1954 Topps Whitey Ford today that I bought on eBay. It's an SGC graded card. It's the perfect condition for an autograph: no creases, decent centering, reasonable corners, but still graded as VG/EX, so it was affordable at $40. Do a search on eBay and see if you can find another in this condition. It's not easy. The last one I sent to Mr. Ford came back signed twice. I've decided to send another. I'll also send Yogi Berra his 1954 Topps next week.

Billy Williams Return

Today I received a 2008 Goudey I sent in to Jim & Steve's to be signed by Billy Williams. I have sent several items in to their signings and have been happy with the results of every one of them.

I received a bunch of my Sportlots.com orders today in preparation of TwinsFest. I also received a Delmon Young bobblehead and a bunch of 8x10 pictures I bought on eBay.
