Bernie Carbo Mail-In Signing and Davie Giusti TTM Returns

The ttm returns continue to trickle in despite having over 30 requests outstanding going back to March but not including the eight I sent out today.

I also have about 18 mail-in signings throughout the rest of April and into May.  I still need to box up some items for these signings, including a Metrodome seatback, a bat and a couple bobbleheads.

I sent in three cards to a Bernie Carbo signing, at which he signed his 1971, 1973 and 1975 Topps cards.

Mr. Carbo is a good signer ttm, but will typically only sign one card per request, and you run the risk that he keeps anything over one.

I sent in these cards to upgrade previously signed cards that were signed in black, or like my previous two attempts on his 1971 Topps, signed a bit differently than usual.  Like a few other players, because there is a facsimile signature on the 1971 Topps, he copies the facsimile signature rather than sign with his current signature.  I kind of like that he does that, but I also like having a more typical (blue) signature on it as well.

Here are the previous versions of these cards that he signed for me and that I wanted to upgrade.

Dave Giusti signed four cards for me in just over two weeks.  The 1963 Checklist and the 1967 Topps were new, and the 1963 and 1971 Topps were upgrade attempts.  I probably should have just sent him a sharpie as well, since he signed in a dark ballpoint pen.  I have a hard time differentiating between the blue and black ballpoint ink in some cases, and this is one of those cases.

Here are the previous versions of these cards he's signed for me.  While these are all fine, today's returns aren't really upgrades.
