Nabisco All Star Autographs - Ernie Banks, Phil Niekro and Duke Snider

After posting about the Hillshire Farms cards I have in my collection, I started looking for other, similar cards.  I came across some Nabisco cards from the early 1990's and bought a few already.

I bought two from the 1993 All Star Autographs set, including Ernie Banks and Phil Niekro.  I paid about $15 for Banks and about $8.50 for Niekro.  With more patience, you can get them cheaper.

I also bought a 1994 Nabisco All Star Legends card of Duke Snider for about $11.50.  Not bad for a deceased Hall of Famer, like the Banks.  And the Niekro was less than his current signing fee.

One of the cards also came with an order form from Nabisco.   These cards were $5 each back then, along with a couple proofs of purchase from Nabisco products.  The Drysdale was already sold out.  I hope to get a Drysdale card as well.  They seem to go for about $30-$35, so I'm hoping to get one a little cheaper.

I can't imagine there are any concerns about the authenticity of these cards, and they are signed on the card, not on a sticker and then applied to the card.  I'll be keeping my eye out for deals on the others in these sets including Brooks Robinson, Catfish Hunter, And Willie Stargell.

I believe the reason the Drysdale was sold out was because he unfortunately passed away during the promotion and was thusly, unable to sign the cards.

Interesting! He died in July of 1993, but there are some of his cards available. Perhaps they were in higher demand since he had just passed away? Thanks for posting!

I'm still shocked at how cheap all of these can be found. Stargell is usually under $20 consistently. I might actually even have an extra.

Me too! I just can't pass them up! I guess the Brooks Robinson and Phil Niekro can be had for about the same as those living players' ttm fees, but the others are a real bargain I think.

I sent away, at the time, and still have my Drysdale and Robinson cards. I love them.

I've got the Niekro and Snider plus Frank Robinson and Jim Palmer. Anytime I can get a HOF autograph card (like, not just a card later signed, but an issued auto) for around 10 bucks, that's a big win! The Robinson especially, he was such a great player.

I agree! I was surprised the Robinson was selling for so little, especially considering his relatively recent death. I just ordered his card yesterday for about $14.
