There were some Harold Baines successes posted on SCN starting in mid-May, so I hopped on the bandwagon and sent out a few cards. It appeared some people were sending a fee, but not everyone. I took a chance and sent three cards and no fee. He signed a 1985 Topps and returned the other two cards unsigned in just seven days. I'm assuming his mailbox is swamped by now.
After scanning these cards, I realized that I had previously sent to him back in 2004, and already have this card signed! I should have taken a little more time to realize that so I could have only sent cards I don't already have.
I also received a return from Pete Mackanin, who signed his 1976 and 1978 Topps for me.
