Another day with a single return. I think this steady stream is good, rather than getting a pile back in one day and then nothing for another week.
John Cumberland signed his 1971 and 1972 Topps for me. I'm not counting this towards my 1972 Topps set goal for the year as I already have one signed that I bought a while ago.

Tom Matchick
It's been a slow week, but I received a nice return today.
Tom Matchick signed his 1969, 1971 and 1973 Topps. He also added a 1968 World Series Champs inscription to the 69 Topps.

Phil Roof Return
The returns have been slow but steady, which is nice. I haven't sent any out for over ten days so the returns might start to slow down shortly.
Today I received a return from former-Twin Phil Roof, who was kind enough to sign his 1963, 1970, 1974 and 1975 Topps. I'm really starting to like the 1975 set more and more. Too bad I don't have any of them. I don't think I'll invest in a set, but I might pick up a few here and there.

Bill Virdon
One return today:
Bill Virdon signed his 1957, 1960, 1973 and 1976 Topps. I like getting players to sign their manager cards and Mr. Virdon signed two of his for me.

Ray Crone Return
One nice vintage return today, as Ray Crone singed a couple cards in about two months, including his 1956 and 1957 Topps.

Jimmy Britton and Jim Merritt
I received two nice returns today.
Jimmy Britton signed two copied of his 1972 Topps card: one not yet signed, and one already signed by the other two players. This one was a bit confusing, because there was another Jim Britton that played about that time. I got a return from him back in February.
I also received some cards back from former-Twin Jim Merritt, who signed his 1966, 1968, 1971 and 1975 Topps.

Tommy Helms Return
I received one return today to start off the week.
Tommy Helms signed his 1969, 1971, 1972 and 1973 Topps.
I had previously purchased his 1972 Topps so I'm not counting this one towards my goal for the year.
I haven't sent out any requests this week. I"m trying to figure out if the coronavirus will impact players' signing habits. I'll probably take a week or two off from sending until I see positive indications that players will still sign.

Mike Garman and Jim Nash
It's been a pretty quiet week for returns, but I received two today.
Mike Garman signed his 1971, 1975, 1976 and 1978 Topps. I used to really not like the 1975 set, but it's growing on me. Much like the 1972 set.
Jim Nash signed and personalized his 1971 and 1973 Topps.

Dave LaRoche and Dave Robinson
I received two returns to start off the week.
Dave Robinson signed his 1971 Topps as well as the 1971 Topps Padres team card.
And Dave LaRoche signed his 1971, 1973, 1976 and 1979 Topps.
I sent out five more requests today, bringing my total to 78 so far this year. I expect some steady returns for the next couple of weeks, although a handful of the players I sent to recently seem to take a while to get to their mail according to SCN.

Bob Montgomery Return
It's slowed down just a bit lately, but I've sent out ten requests this week so hopefully things pick up.
Just one return today: Bob Montgomery signed his 1971, 1975, 1976 and 1979 Topps.

Jim French and Floyd Wicker
Two returns today:
Jim French signed his 1969, 1970 and 1971 Topps.
And Floyd Wicker signed his 1969 and 1971 Topps.
I've hit the halfway mark of my goal of getting 50 more cards signed from the 1971 Topps set this year. It's getting harder though because many of the players are charging to sign, and I've been trying to minimize the amount I spend. I also don't have as many cards from the set as I thought I did, so I might have to buy a few to reach my goal.
