I came home to several returns in the mailbox today.
I added #8 (of my goal of 400) to my 1972 Topps set. Mike McCormick signed a 1962 and 1972 Topps.
Al Dark signed his 1956 and 1961 Topps for me. I had enclosed $10 with my request.
Mickey Lolich signed his 1965 Topps for my set. I enclosed $10 with this request as well.
Finally, Johnny O'Brien signed his 1958, 1959 and 1954 Topps. His 1954 Topps is pretty cool, and features him along with his brother Ed. They live close to each other, and Johnny had his brother Ed sign the card as well. How nice was that?
I have gone through some of the 1972 Topps I bought on eBay and identified the good signers, and found some other cards to enclose along with them. I sent out 14 requests on Tuesday.
