Yesterday I received a disappointing, but expected, failed attempt from Sandy Koufax. I mentioned a sase in my Informed Delivery page that had a stamp on it that I hadn't used for quite a while.
That turned out to be a return from Billy Williams! It wasn't sent that long ago, and now I remember using an sase from another failed attempt that had been sitting around a while.
Mr. Williams signed his 1963 Topps. I had enclosed $20 with my request, which I sent back in late March.
I had sent a request last August as well, which was returned to me with an RTS sticker on it. At least you can expect to get your payment and card back if he doesn't sign, which appears to be about 50% of the time. At that rate, I'm surprised there aren't more attempts. Especially now that his signing fee has increased to nearly $100 at shows.
