Johnny Edwards and Al Worthington TTM Successes

We have a community mailbox in our cul de sac with about 15 individual locked mailboxes, and a couple larger ones for packages.  All of a sudden, we couldn't get either of our keys to open our mailbox.  The keys won't even go in halfway.  Today I received a call from the USPS guy who looked into it, and it turns out I have to pay $40 to fix it!  I was pretty surprised since I had no idea I was responsible for the cost of maintaining it.  We've lived here for almost 28 years and never had any issues.

Anyway, I received  a couple ttm successes, which I had to pick up ay the post office since I put a hold on my mail until they fix the lock.

Yesterday, I received a return from Johnny Edwards, who signed four cards for me.  Unfortunately, the 68 got smeared pretty badly.  The 62 is an upgrade from a previous attempt that also got smeared.  Mr. Edwards is a very generous signer and I've sent to him many times over the years.  Sometimes, he includes a handful of signed photocopied pictures as well.  He didn't this time, which is okay since I already have multiple copies of them.

Today, I received three cards back from former-Twin Al Worthington, who signed a couple Twins team cards and a 1980 Fleer Laughlin card commemorating the 1965 World Series.  I've had issues with Mr. Worthington the last few years where I didn't receive anything back, or only some of my cards back.  I lost a 1966 Twins team card to him that had several signatures on it.  The card itself is kind of expensive, so that was a bummer.  I've scaled back my requests to him to include only less expensive cards and those with few or no signatures.
