Aker, Shantz, Rice and White

Yesterday, I received a couple Athletics yearbooks back.

Jack Aker signed the 1966 Athletics yearbook I've been working on.  Unfortunately, he didn't return the four cards I had sent, including the 1966 athletics team card that already had several signatures on it.  He did return a signed picture that I didn't send, and another unusual item that I am waiting to see if another collector can claim.  I'm disappointed in losing the team card, but that's how it goes.

He signed the cover twice: once in blue in the yellow section, and again in yellow on the pitcher's sleeve.

Bobby Shantz signed a 1952 Philadelphia Athletics yearbook.  Unfortunately, he's the sole surviving member of the team so I can't add any more signatures to it.

Today, Jim Rice returned a couple cards I sent at the end of January.  I was getting a little worried because he's usually quicker than this.

And I received a couple 1982 Topps I sent in for a Frank White signing.

I have a FedEx package waiting for me to pick up at the local holding location.  But, I'm still sick after nearly a week and don't really feel like going to get it, even though it's my latest authentication return from JSA/CGC.
