I received a return today from a player that has caused me some confusion.
Charley Thompson signed his 1957 Topps for me in just nine days.
I previously had Mr. Thompson sign his 1958 Topps and his 1954 Topps. It wasn't until I went to send out this 1957 Topps that I realized these were all the same person!
His 1954 Topps lists him as Charlie Thompson. This isn't too different than "Charley" and if it weren't for the 1958 Topps, I wouldn't have been so confused. But, his 1958 Topps lists him as "Tim Thompson." I thought my 1954 and 1958 Topps were from different players and the same confusion exists on SCN where there are two listings for him: one as "Tim" and one as "Charlie".
Anyway, here are the 1954 and 1958 cards Mr. Thompson has previously signed for me.
